Layout histories

Here we present histories of our fictitious railroads. It doesn't matter if you haven't finished, or even started building your layout, as long as you're having fun.

Do a little research into the area where your road existed and create a story - who knows - it might even give you the final reason to finish the work.

Also, as has been pointed out by many, having an idea of your railroad's era, locale, and reason for being will probably make it "more real" (or at least "more realistic").

If you want to submit your story, please include any relevant pictures and sketches - prototype or model, and a trackplan if available. I can scan paper napkins if needed.
